Bomber Command 9/2 @ Ludlow

Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Wednesday; Bomber Command in the Ludlow 13:40. Compare odds and bet.

Only fourth in a Southwell bumper on debut last June BOMBER COMMAND (13:40) shows signs of promise and, despite the lay off, is of interest in the opening maiden hurdle at Ludlow.

Tom George’s grey was keen early and was anchored out the back in a slowly run affair. Well backed beforehand, he had clearly shown ability at home and the race wasn’t run to suit. Given his finishing position, I’m hoping he’s overlooked in the betting.

In the same race, keep an eye on Midnight Jitterbug who also shaped with promise in bumpers and ran well for a long way at Leicester last time. He is again likely to be sent off at big odds and could be worth noting once entering handicap company down the line.

Wednesday’s selection:
13:40 Ludlow – Bomber Command; 9/2 bet365
