Mojito 7/2 @ Haydock

Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Saturday; Mojito in the Haydock 17:40. Compare odds and bet.

Despite the fact that I would have preferred to seen him returning to action over a shade further Mojito (5:40) is taken to land the concluding 7f handicap at Haydock on Saturday.

William Haggas’ Requinto colt showed promise on debut over this trip at York, before appearing to appreciate the extra furlong when shedding his maiden tag at Newcastle. An opening mark of 83 could well underestimate this three-year-old and, though he will stay further in time, I have to side with him on this reappearance off such an appealing looking mark.

Saturday’s selection:
5:40 Haydock: Mojito 7/2 Bet365
