Slightly disappointing when upped to Listed level last time UAE PRINCE (8:30) is given another chance on his return to handicap company at Newmarket tonight.
Roger Varian’s Sea The Stars gelding has long held a tall reputation and he made a winning return at Ripon in April. The drop in trip should be in his favour, especially if there is an ease in the ground and, though he isn’t the most consistent, he remains open to improvement.
Al Neksh is another capable of landing a decent handicap, in my opinion, and he shaped well on his return at York, travelling best for a long way. He is much respected.
Up at Chester WHITE CHOCOLATE (7:10) is preferred to fellow in-form filly Titi Makfi.
David Simcock’s grey really found her stride late on at Goodwood last time and her stamina is proven over this distance and with cut in the ground.
