Though both Mount Ararat and Swiss Knight showed enough to debut to suggest they will both be winning races, the penalised Caradoc (3:10) is fancied to follow up his recent Chester win at Haydock this evening.
Ed Walker’s son of Camelot really picked up strongly in the closing stages last time over 7½f, showing a fine turn of foot and looking one to keep onside. He might not have beaten a lot on that occasion and this might well turn out to be a stronger race, but he created a good impression at Chester last month and is taken to concede the weight.
