After an encouraging return to action at Newbury last month Shabaaby (4:25) can land the Listed Cathedral Stakes at Salisbury on Sunday.
Owen Burrows’ Kyllachy colt looked a nice type when winning at Newmarket and Doncaster last summer – after improving on his debut at this track – and was handed an entry in the Commonwealth Cup at Ascot on Friday. This is a more realistic target and he can get back to winning ways.
