TEGEREK (5:05) has caught the eye on more than one occasion this season and he is given the vote in the concluding handicap hurdle at Chepstow.
Fifth on debut, he then finished a close up third behind Ballymore third Bright Forecast at Leicester. He again shaped well on his handicap debut at Newbury earlier in the month and the runner-up advertised that form when winning at Exeter on Monday. Incidentally, the third from Newbury runs earlier on today’s card.
A keen-going sort, he will need to relax over this longer trip but there should be races to be won with him over hurdles and young Jonjo O’Neill Junior will still be on a high, following his success in the Martin Pipe last Friday.
