Fifth in the EBF Final a year ago, things haven’t gone to plan for TURTLE WARS (4:00) to date over fences, but he remains on a fair mark and is given another chance at Newbury on Friday.
Selected here when hampered on his chase debut at Sandown (finished fifth) he then disappointed in a hot race at Kempton on Boxing Day and his subsequent absence suggests all was not right. He’s given another chance and can be backed each-way in an open race.
