Let down by his jumping at Cheltenham, the hope is that MAJBOROUGH (5:25) can round off his novice campaign in style at Punchestown on Thursday. Last year’s Triumph Hurdle winner had earlier looked hugely exciting and can land another Grade 1.
SIXANDAHALF (4:50) also hit the frame at the Festival and having bypassed Fairyhouse on soft ground, should find conditions to her liking here. She ought to be very tough to beat.
And, although the drying ground is a slight concern, TEAHUPOO (6:00) can win a second Champion Stayers Hurdle on the back of a nice break since Cheltenham. Expected to run at Aintree, he was pulled out on good ground but the extra few weeks will be in his favour as he goes best fresh.
