How To Enter The 2010 Contest
Simply pick three horses that you think will finish in the first three places in the featured race of the day, which will be highlighted each weekend on this page and on the betrescue home page.
Last week's race was the Tatersalls Millions Auction Stakes at Newmarket, won by 1/1 fav Zebedee, ridden by Richard Hughes. Button Moon was a surprise 2nd at 40/1, Mayhab 3rd at 25/1.
Plenty of people picked the even money winner, Zebedee, but the key was in the remaining 2 choices due to their large SP's. As a result, there were huge swings and changes on the leaderboards, especially the August competition.
None of the August Top 4 before the weekend remained come Sunday, all had been leapfrogged by big scorers. Bryan Scott jumped into 3rd place with Button Moon and Mayhab helping him but, incredibly, 2 people came from 0 points to joint 1st in 1 result. Tam Carrie and Donald Priest Jnr pulled off that feat by selecting Zebedee and Button Moon as the correct one-two, netting 123 points after the bonus multiplier; well done to them both.
On the overall leaderboard, John Gallagher took top spot with a Mayhab selection and Mike Hanson jumped up to 4th. Donlad Priest Jnr's haul enabled him to climb to 5th from 41st.

This Week's Race - Saturday 4th September 2010 The 2010 contest continues this weekend with the 1st week (of 4) of the September competition. This week's race is the Betfred Sprint Cup at Haydock on Saturday 4th September at 15.40, live on Channel 4.

Then either submit your entry using the form below or email punter@betrescue.com with your selections, including your name and address and 888sport username.
Entries must be received at least 30 minutes before the race starts.
Scoring - New Rules for 2010
For each horse selected that comes in the first three, entrants score points based upon the Starting Prices (SP.
For example:
Winning horse has an SP of 2/1 = 2 points
Second has an SP of 20/1 = 20 points
Third has an SP of 9/1 = 9 points
Bonus Points - Quadruple Your Score!
In 2010 bonus points will be awarded as follows:
Selecting the winning horse to finish first - Bonus = double points
For example, if you select Kauto Star to finish first and the odds are 2/1 you will score 4 points.
Selecting the first two horses home in the correct order - Bonus = treble points For example, if you select Kauto Star to finish first at 2/1 and Denman to finish second at 4/1 you will score 18 points.
Selecting the first three horses home in the correct order - Bonus = quadruple points For example, if you select pick Kauto Star to finish first at 2/1 and Denman to finish second at 4/1 and Imperial Commander to finish third at 10/1 you will score 64 points.
The winning entries will be deamed to be that producing the highest cummulative profit each week.

Monthly Winners:
In conjunction with our sponsors 888Sport.com we shall be giving away £600 in free bets throughtout the year.
The person with the highest profit at the end of each month will receive a £25 free bet with 888Sport.com, the person who finishes second will receive a £15 free bet and the third placed person a £10 free bet.
In this contest scores set to zero at the beginning of each month.
Annual Winners:
888Sport.com are also giving away £400 in free bets to the annual winners.
The person with the highest number of cummulative points at the end of the competition will win the 2010 Betrescue Racing Tipster Champion trophy worth £500 and £150 in free bets with 888Sport.com. The second placed person will win £100 in free bets, third £75, fourth £50 and fifth £25 in free bets.
In this contest scores start from January 1st and end December 31st 2010.
COMPETITION RULES- Employees of Betrescue Ltd and their suppliers and partners are ineligible.
- The competition is open to anybody aged 18 or over but is restricted to two people per household and one entry per person.
- All entrants must be subscribed to Betrescue.com.
- All entrants must have an account with 888Sport.com.
- Entries must be received prior to the start of the featured race.
- Winners will be notified by Betrescue within 7 days. Prizes must be claimed and used within 28 days of notification.
- Judges decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into to.
- Email and web entrants accept that their email address will be entered into the betrescue.com database from which they can unsubscribe at any times.
- No purchase necessary.
