GOLF BETTING: Ladbrokes make Lee Westwood 4/1 joint favourite to win the “Race to Dubai” with Martin Kaymer after the former, was pipped to the Dubai Desert Classic title this weekend.
Westwood, tipped up each way by betrescue columnist Angus Loughran, came agonisingly close to a first title of the season before missing out in a play off to Miguel Angel Jimenez who is now 50/1 to top the European money list at Coral.
Charl Schwartzel, who currently leads the Race is 25/1 st Skybet whilst Rory McIlroy is totesport’s second favourite to top the list at 11/2. Robert Karlsson, in third, is 12s with Stan James and Ross Fisher can be backed at 20/1 with the same firm.
