Luke Donald is having a season to remember and I am looking forward to backing him to win BMW at Wentworth later this month, an event he should have won last year.
Donald is 16/1 with Stan James to win this weeks Players Championship, a price that should not be overlooked – especially each way with the bookies, offering 6 places each way.
I like the chances of former winner Adam Scott at 33/1 (Ladbrokes) who is playing really well at the moment and would have won The Masters but for an inspired 4 birdie finish from Charl Schwartzel.
Of the huge outsiders Davis Love 111 at 200/1 with Totesport finished a creditable 16th on his latest start and loves it at Sawgrass, as does Stephen Ames also at 200/1 with Totesport.
The Iberdrola Open in Mallorca is a low key affair with Welshman Bradley Dredge my selection here at 33/1 with Betfred while the general 25/1 (bet365, ) available about Paul Lawrie is also very fair in a low key event.
