Sat 15.00: In-form Bournemouth combine with Carlisle at huge odds of 24/5 (bet365) in League One games against Shrewsbury and Preston.
Bournemouth are going the right way about securing automatic promotion from League One, the Cherries ending the season in fine fashion and Eddie Howe’s in-form side can continue their charge to the Championship by picking up all three points at Shrewsbury.
The south coast outfit head to the New Meadow on the back of six straight wins while the hosts, who are pretty much safe, have lost two of their last three on their own patch. Bournemouth are virtually impossible to oppose then and bet365 rate them at an enticing even money to maintain their momentum.
Carlisle have been a tough side to predict all season but recent results for the Cumbrians have been pretty solid and they look a touch overpriced at 19/10 with BetVictor as they prepare to welcome Preston to Brunton Park.
Greg Abbott’s troops have lost just one of their last eight but that only tells half the story because during that run they’ve beaten promotion-chasing Brentford, drawn with top six pair Yeovil and Sheffield United and on Tuesday they struck twice without reply at leaders Doncaster.
For their part, Preston head north having picked up back-to-back victories but they came at home to struggling duo Scunthorpe and Oldham whereas they’ve lost their last couple on their travels; Carlisle can extend that sequence.
