A lightly raced novice hurdler last season ACTING LASS (1:40) looks the type to make up into a smart chaser and can make a winning debut at Market Rasen.
Harry Fry’s six-year-old certainly possesses the size to take to fences and he looked a nice prospect when winning at Hereford a year ago, before chasing home Finian’s Oscar at the same track.
With the stable in such good form, he reappears at the right time and a mark of 135 looks fair. This doesn’t look a bad little race despite just three horses taking him on, but the selection could easily end up in a higher grade than this as the season progresses.
