Premier League Betting Preview

Chris Hutcheon pinpoints the money making opportunities in the forthcoming Premier League matches.  Live Scores | Free Bets

Sun 16:00. Arsenal v Everton. Arsenal can only hope that a win over Everton will be good enough at the Emirates Stadium, with the Gunners trading at 8/15 with bet365 to get the better of a Toffees side who will hope to be safe from the drop.

It’s going to be a tense atmosphere in North London, with Frank Lampard’s side determined to scrap their way out of trouble and William Hill offering 11/2 that the visitors pull off a victory against former Everton player Mikel Arteta.

We’re favouring a low-scoring encounter and Under 2.5 Goals has been chalked up at 5/4 with Ladbrokes, with the visitors determined to shut out opponents whose morale could be low.

Sun 16:00. Norwich v Tottenham. Tottenham are on the verge of qualifying for the Champions League and their task is now relatively simple. Win at Carrow Road and a top four spot is theirs, with Coral among the firms offering a best price 2/9 about Spurs.

Paddy Power have 8/11 about a win for the visitors and Conte will want the team to go out in search of goals against a relegated Norwich side, with Harry Kane available at 15/8 to score the first goal and Son Heung-Min is 7/2 with the same firm to break the deadlock.

Arsenal will be hoping for a miracle and BetVictor have 14/1 that Dean Smith’s side oblige with a victory that could potentially wreck Tottenham dreams.

Sun 16:00. Man City v Aston Villa. For all the talk of a Premier League title race, Manchester City are severely short in the betting to get the better of Aston Villa at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday. The Cityzens might have dropped points at the London Stadium last weekend although they are a best price 1/5 with Betfred to beat Steven Gerrard’s team.

The Villans will attempt to play the role of party poopers and there’s the obvious angle of Gerrard wanting Liverpool to claim the title although 18/1 with Ladbrokes indicates that their hopes of securing a victory are slim and the draw is trading at 13/2 with betfair.

Sun 16:00. Liverpool v Wolverhampton. It’s possible that a Liverpool victory over Wolves will turn out to be academic, although the Reds are a 1/5 shot with William Hill to claim an Anfield win on Sunday before preparing for the Champions League final.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were victorious in the FA Cup last weekend and they are 10/11 with bet365 to claim a win without conceding, with betfair chalking up 10/1 about a 4-0 win for a team who have pushed Manchester City all the way when it comes to the title race.

If you think that the visitors are capable of finding the net against a weakened defence, then Boylesports have 2/1 about a Liverpool win and both teams scoring.

Sun 16:00. Brentford v Leeds. Brentford did Leeds something of a favour last week by winning at Everton, although the Bees could be the team that send Jesse Marsch’s team down on Sunday. They are 27/20 with Ladbrokes to claim a win and it looks a big price considering that their opponents are really struggling.

Leeds might need to win this game and Betfred have 19/10 that they come away from West London with a maximum haul that could keep them in the division. It remains to be seen whether a draw will be good enough although that’s trading at 5/2 with Boylesports.

Sun 16:00. Burnley v Newcastle. It all comes down to the final game of the season for a Burnley side who have been battling gamely against the drop for much of the campaign. The Clarets could be ready to perform the great escape and Betfred have 29/20 that Mike Jackson engineers a victory over Newcastle. However, the Magpies are likely to be bouncing after a 2-0 win over Arsenal on Monday, with Eddie Howe’s side looking to sign off with a victory at Turf Moor. They are a 2/1 chance with BetVictor to secure a maximum haul and that could be a profitable way of trebling your money.

Sun 16:00. Brighton v West Ham. Brighton and West Ham will play out their final game of the season and reflect on relatively successful terms. The Seagulls have finished strongly in recent weeks and Graham Potter’s side are 8/5 with Coral to get three points. However, the Hammers stormed into a 2-0 lead over Manchester City last weekend and they’re 9/5 with Betfred to get the job done.

Sun 16:00. Chelsea v Watford. It could be a one-sided affair at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea play out their final match of a somewhat troubled Premier League season. The Blues are a 1/6 poke with bet365 and look a fairly solid acca pick, while the London outfit can be punted at 16/1 with betfair to claim a 5-0 win over Watford which might not be wide of the mark.

Sun 16:00. Crystal Palace v Man Utd. Crystal Palace will look to finish the season on a high when they clash with Manchester United and the Eagles look a big price at 2/1 with betfair. Patrick Vieira’s side meet a Red Devils team who are already looking beyond this season and Betfred have 11/8 about the visitors hitting the right notes at Selhurst Park.

Sun 16:00. Leicester v Southampton. Leicester City destroyed Watford at Vicarage Road last weekend and the Foxes are warm favourites to follow this up with another victory over Southampton on Sunday. Brendan Rodgers’ side are a best price evens with Coral to get the job done against a Saints side who played Liverpool on Tuesday. The visitors are 13/5 with bet365 to win at the King Power.
