Although Cheltenham’s November meeting gets underway this afternoon, the two selections (surprisingly) come from Southwell. DAYTIME DREAMING (1:32) ran just twice over hurdles but won impressively at this track when last seen almost a year ago. The five-year-old looks on a fair mark for this chase debut and will hopefully be ready after the lay-off. In the next, GIDGE (2:07) showed enough on her first start at Uttoxeter to suggest that she can win a bumper before going hurdling and is a half-sister to the same connections’ Grade 1 winner Crambo.
