Although he has won just once over fences to date, Netywell (2:25) remains a horse of interest and will get his favoured heavy ground at Carlisle on Sunday. Lucinda Russell’s novice is 2-3 on heavy and although both wins came on flat tracks (Wetherby and Ayr), he has run well over hurdles at this venue previously. Hopefully, he will be able to dominate from the front and bounce back from a slightly disappointing performance last time. The 53-day break should have helped in that regard.
