Fergie’s Saturday racing tips

Paul Ferguson has two selections for us on Saturday; Inneston in the 1.30 at Newbury and Coniston George in the 5.20 at Kelso. | Free Bets |

Runner-up in the EBF Final last time, Inneston (1:30) can defy another 7lbs rise in the handicap and return to winning ways in the opener from Newbury. A heavy-ground winner at Sandown the time before, the French-import is going the right way now and the more rain that falls on the Berkshire track, the better his chance.

Up at Kelso, Coniston George (5:20) can win his second bumper, for Nicky Richards and Danny McMenamin. Runner-up on debut at Haydock, he won with a bit in hand at Ayr just a fortnight ago and can land this valuable prize for his in-form stable

Saturday’s selections:
1:30 Newbury – Inneston; 9/4 bet365
5:20 Kelso – Coniston George; 9/2 William Hill
