Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Sunday; Tower Of London in the 4.10 at Curragh. Free Bets
Given that I was keen on the chances of Tower Of London (4:10) in last week’s St Leger, he has to be of interest in Sunday’s Irish Cesarewitch, despite the quick, eight-day turnaround. Dropping back into handicap company, the three-year-old Galileo colt had earlier won a handicap at Down Royal before finishing a narrow second in the Bahrain Trophy, when Ryan Moore dropped his whip. He shaped quite well for a long way behind stable-mate Continuous last week at Doncaster and both the longer trip and the slightly better ground are positives. He receives a healthy 10lbs age allowance and provided the race doesn’t come too quickly for him, he has the class to run a huge race. He did have a nice break from Newmarket to Doncaster (65 days), so he hasn’t been busy during the second half of the season at least.
Sunday’s selection:
4:10 Curragh – Tower Of London; 7/1 Coral
