Following her all the way win in the Nassau Stakes at Glorious Goodwood, Opera Singer (2:57) is taken to stay the longer trip and win the Prix Vermeille at Longchamp on Sunday. Aidan O’Brien’s Justify filly won the Marcel Boussac at this track last October and was placed in both the Irish 1,000 Guineas and the Coronation Stakes before stepping up to 10 furlongs and if ridden with a little more restraint, should get the 1m4f. The soft ground is a slight concern over this trip and in this company.
