The Punchestown Festival gets underway on Tuesday, when the highlight looks to be the clash between Fact To File and Marine Nationale in the Champion Chase.
Trainer of the former, Willie Mullins – fresh from claiming a second successive British trainers’ title on Saturday – saddles five in the Grade 1 Champion Novice Chase. Paul Townend retains the partnership with Ballyburn, who looks to win at the meeting for a third year in a row, but there was no fluke about the victory of LECKY WATSON (4:50) at Cheltenham and the seven-year-old can maintain his unbeaten record as a chaser.
