Plenty of Dan Skelton’s novice hurdlers have needed their first run but MYDADDYPADDY (12:15) created such a deep impression when winning a Huntingdon bumper that he is taken to overcome that and beat two-time bumper winner Harbour Island.
The feature from Carlisle can go the way chasing debutant STEEL ALLY(2:15). Winner of a valuable handicap hurdle at Haydock, he also finished runner-up in both the Welsh Champion Hurdle and Fontwell’s National Spirit Hurdle, and his forceful tactics should see him put up a bold show here, in receipt of 11lb.
