William Hill are sweating over a potential £1million payout should McIlroy, Westwood or Donald win the Open Golf Championship.

Weekend wins for Luke Donald and Steve Stricker saw the pair’s odds for the Open cut, with Donald now 11/1 with Sportingbet to lift the Claret Jug.

William Hill are nervous of world no. 1 Luke Donald in The Open, who has been trimmed from 16/1 to 14/1 and McDowell also in to 25/1.
