FA CUP TEAM NEWS

Accrington v Fulham
STANLEY have Luke Joyce back, after the midfielder was suspended for their third round victory on Tuesday. Chris Turner (ankle) should be fit, Leam Richardson is sidelined with a groin injury.
FULHAM are without the injured Clint Dempsey and Paul Konchesky, while also in the treatment room are John Pantsil, Simon Davies, Diomansy Kamara and Bobby Zamora.

Aston Villa v Brighton
VILLA could make changes after their dramatic League Cup win in midweek. John Carew is struggling with a knee injury, while Nigel Reo-Coker has an ankle problem.
BRIGHTON will be without the cup-tied Marcos Painter – Jim McNulty is set to return. Michel Kuipers is likely to have shaken off a knock, but Adam El-Abd and Colin Hawkins are injured.

Bolton v Sheff Utd
BOLTON’s Mark Davies (ankle) is out, otherwise they have a near-full squad, with Dan Shittu on international duty and long-term absentees Joey O’Brien and Sean Davis (both knee) injured.
The BLADES’ defender Matt Kilgallon could return after his hamstring injury. New signing Mark Yeates is cup-tied, but Darius Henderson, Jamie Ward and Henri Camara are pushing for places.

Cardiff v Leicester
CARDIFF’s Gavin Rae faces a late fitness test, while Aaron Wildig (back) is injured and Solomon Taiwo has gone down with a virus. Stephen McPhail is back in training after his cancer treatment. Josh Magennis (broken fibula) is definitely out.
LEICESTER may have Bruno Berner fit after his calf injury, Dany N’Guessan and Martyn Waghorn are pushing for starts.

Derby v Doncaster
DERBY’s Luke Varney has returned to Sheffield Wednesday on loan, Russell Anderson could start, while Miles Addison (foot) is a doubt. Dean Leacock (knee) is still out, while Nicky Hunt and DJ Campbell are ineligible.
ROVERS are unlikely to make changes – captain Brian Stock looks to be over his ankle problem. Martin Woods (groin) is close to a return.

Everton v Birmingham
EVERTON have Ayegbeni Yakubu and Joseph Yobo on African Nations Cup duty. Mikel Arteta is in training after his cruciate injury, Lucas Neill and Jo have left the club, and Tony Hibbert (hernia) is injured.
BLUES will have Michel in their squad. Lee Carsley, Gregory Vignal, Stuart Parnaby, Teemu Tainio, David Murphy and Garry O’Connor are in the teatment room.

Notts County v Wigan
COUNTY are unlikely to make major changes from the side which beat Forest Green in midweek, with Stephen Hunt, Johnnie Jackson and Lee Hughes all continuing.
WIGAN skipper Mario Melchiot is set to play despite suffering a broken nose – he could wear a protective mask. Paul Scharner could be fit despite suffering a swollen ankle and knee against Wolves.

Portsmouth v Sunderland
Crisis-hit POMPEY could have David James in goal, Younes Kaboul should be fit, but Nadir Belhadj, Hassan Yebda, Aruna Dindane and Kanu are on international duty.
SUNDERLAND could have keeper Craig Gordon (broken arm) available. Michael Turner is available after suspension, Andy Reid and Lee Cattermole may return. John Mensah is unlikely to feature, while Matthew Kilgallon is cup-tied.

Preston v Chelsea
PRESTON have allowed Neal Trotman to join Huddersfield on loan, and are without injured Paul Parry (knee), Youl Mawene (knee ligaments) is making a steady recovery, while Barry Nicholson (broken leg) is out
CHELSEA, without John Mikel Obi, Michael Essien, Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou on international duty, now have Essien out injured (knee). Deco should be fit.

Reading v Burnley
READING may have Gylfi Sigurdsson (foot) available, while defender Matt Mills has avoided a suspension. Noel Hunt, Chris Armstrong and Julian Kelly are injured.
BURNLEY’s Steven Fletcher may be fit, despite hobbling off at the weekend. Frederic Nimani may have arrived on loan, but Steven Caldwell (groin) is injured, Clarke Carlisle’s a concern, and Andre Bikey on international duty.

Southampton v Ipswich
SAINTS’ midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin is suspended, skipper Dean Hammond (Achilles) is injured, while also out are the cup-tied Dan Seaborne and Jon Ostemobor, plus injured Rahdi Jaidi (eye) and Graeme Murty (ankle).
IPSWICH’s Pablo Counago is pushing for a start, Brian Murphy (ankle) and Richard Wright (knee) are injured, Luciano Civelli (knee) is a long-term absentee, Jon Stead is suspended.

Tottenham v Leeds
SPURS’ Tom Huddlestone is struggling with a knee injury, Ledley King featured at Anfield so may not continue, Robbie Keane and Alan Hutton could start, while Aaron Lennon, Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Jonathan Woodgate are struggling with injury.
LEEDS striker Luciano Becchio should return alongside Jermaine Beckford. Patrick Kisnorbo may also start, but keeper Shane Higgs has a thigh problem.

West Brom v Newcastle
The BAGGIES’ James Morrison (heel) is their main injury absentee, but may return in a week, while Abdoulaye Meite is on international duty.
TOON are unlikely to make major changes from the side which drew with Albion, with Joey Barton their only major injury absentee. Manchester United defender Danny Simpson, who has been on loan, signed a three-year deal.

Wolves v Crystal Palace
WOLVES have signed Belgian international midfielder Geoffrey Mujangi Bia on loan, while Christophe Berra is pushing for a place.
PALACE will be without the cup-tied defender Lee Hills – Danny Butterfield could come into the side. Highly-rated striker Victor Moses should feature, but Sean Scannell (hamstring), Paddy McCarthy (shoulder) and Darryl Flahavan (jaw) are still injured

Scunthorpe v Man City
The IRON have Rob Jones struggling with a hamstring injury, Josh Wright is recovering from illness, while Joe Murphy (shoulder) is close to a return.
CITY, with one eye on next week’s game with local rivals United, are likely to be without Emmanuel Adebayor, Patrick Vieira (calf) could make his debut, Stephen Ireland has recovered from a hamstring injury.

Stoke v Arsenal
STOKE’s Andy Wilkinson and Liam Lawrence are pushing to start after they replaced the injured Rory Delap (groin) and Abdoulaye Faye (back) against Liverpool.
ARSENAL are without Abou Diaby for at least two games due to a shoulder injury, while Bacary Sagna is also out. Theo Walcott could start, but Kieran Gibbs (foot) is now out for the season.

PREMIER LEAGUE TEAM NEWS

Man Utd v Hull
UNITED could have Nemanja Vidic back after his ankle problem, Rio Ferdinand (back) is close to a return, while John O’Shea (thigh) could miss the rest of the season. Mame Biram Diouf is pushing for a place.
HULL’s Dean Marney may feature, Jimmy Bullard (knee) is still not ready, while Amr Zaki is short of match fitness.

CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM NEWS

Blackpool v Watford
BLACKPOOL are set to make changes from the side beaten by Sheffield Wednesday with Gary Taylor-Fletcher, Barry Bannan and Keith Southern pushing for recalls. Stephen McPhee and Billy Clarke are injured, Hameur Bouazza is on international duty.
WATFORD’s teenage midfielder Ross Jenkins could start after his recent back operation. New signing Stephen McGinn may feature.

Middlesbrough v Swansea
BORO’s former Celtic trio Willo Flood, Chris Killen and Barry Robson are set to make their home debuts. Leroy Lita is available after suspension, Adam Johnson could start, while Marvin Emnes (bruised ribs) may feature.
SWANSEA’s Cedric van der Gun is available after a hamstring problem, but a similar injury has sidelined Albert Serran. Craig Beattie should start.

Plymouth v Barnsley
PLYMOUTH could have striker Jamie Mackie fit after his bout of flu. Benin defender Reda Johnson may also play after his country were knocked out of the African Nations Cup.
BARNSLEY defender Bobby Hassell should be available after his recent knock, otherwise the Tykes have no fresh injury problems. Iain Hume, Andy Gray and Jamal Campbell-Ryce are pushing to start.

Sheff Wed v Peterborough
WEDNESDAY should have Luke Varney in their squad after his return from loan at Derby. Winger Jermaine Johnson has a hamstring problem, with Leon Clarke set to play alongside Marcus Tudgay. Loanee Tom Soares will play his last game.
POSH are without suspended defenders Ryan Bennett and Craig Morgan – both saw red against Derby. Gabriel Zakuani (groin) is injured.
