HORSE RACING: A look at some of Royal Ascot’s market moves in the ante post horse racing markets and also at some of today’s races. Compare latest odds for ante post horse racing.

Punters looking for clues for the big field races on the straight course at Royal Ascot this week were given an early indicator on Sunday when clerk Chris Stickels issued GoingStick readings which suggest that the far rail has an edge over the stands’ side.

The readings for the straight course on Sunday afternoon were 9.0 on the stands’ side, 8.8 on the centre and 9.2 on the far side. The round course reading was 8.5

Prince of Wales’s Stakes:
Byword has begun a drift before todays Ascot meeting, Ladbrokes are out to 7/2 from 3′s and Bet365 join them at 7/2, from 11/4. Nobody is sub 3/1.

Outsider Bannaby is clipped in to 25/1 from 33/1 by William Hill.

Ask is sneaking up on 2nd fav Age Of Aquarius, Ask is into 5/1 from 6/1 with Paddy Power.

Chachamaidee gets things moving in the Coronation, 20′s into 16/1 with Skybet.

Lillie Langtry moves into joint fav position with Anna Salai at 4′s, and Totesport have gone as far as to drop to 7/2 for clear fav.

Famous, a 66/1 outside shout, has been halved by Sportingbet to 33/1.

Golden Jubilee Stakes:
Showcasing reinforces his position as fav, shortened to 5/1 by Paddy Power and Stan James from 6/1 and 11/2 respectively.

Fleeting Spirit and Kinsale King were both knocked in a couple of points; Fleeting Spirit into 6/1 from 8′s (Coral) and Kinsale King 10/1 to 8/1 (Stan James)

Wokingham Heritage Handicap:
Some outsiders on the move today as Kerrys Requiem is begins a long trip in from 66/1 to 40/1 with Stan James. Slightly more significantly, Hitchens is cut to 16/1 from 25/1 by Betfred.

Jockeys:
Stan James cut Frankie Dettori from 14s to 10/1 to be top jockey at Royal Ascot after he got first pick at Godolphin’s stable.
