Premier League Team News

Get up to speed with all the team talk and injury news for this weekend’s Premier League matches before you place your bets.

Bolton v Tottenham
Martin Petrov is in contention for BOLTON after he returned to training but may not displace Matt Taylor in the first eleven. Michael Dawson (knee) and Ledley King (groin) are sidelined for SPURS but Rafael van der Vaart should be fit after playing midweek and Tom Huddlestone returns to midfield after missing two games through injury.

Birmingham v West Ham
BIRMINGHAM have no new injury concerns and Cameron Jerome is set to return but James McFadden (ligaments) is out. Mark Noble (appendix) is set to join Thomas Hitzlsperger (groin) in WEST HAM’s treatment room for a month but Matthew Upson is ready to return to defence while Julian Faubert is suspended after receiving a red card for the reserves.

Blackburn v Wigan
Benjani (hamstring) is likely to be fit for BLACKBURN, as is Gael Givet (hamstring) after both sustained injuries last week and Steven Nzonzi is fit following a hamstring problem. WIGAN are set to without Emerson Boyce (hamstring) again and James McCarthy (ankle) has undergone surgery but there are no fresh injuries for Roberto Martinez’s men.

Blackpool v Everton
Alex Baptiste (knee) is targeting the middle of November for a comeback but BLACKPOOL’s Ian Holloway has no new problems. Jack Rodwell was a shock inclusion on EVERTON’s bench last week and looks set to cement his squad status while Victor Anichebe also has a chance after his recovery but Leon Osman (ankle) and Marouane Fellaini (hamstring) are out.

Fulham v Aston Villa
Dickson Etuhu’s (knee) return for FULHAM has been delayed a week while Damien Duff has returned to training and has an outside chance of making the bench. Emile Heskey (knee) is out for a month for VILLA along with Gabriel Agbonlahor (groin) so Nathan Delfouneso is in contention to deputise up front and Marc Albrighton returns from suspension.

Man Utd v Wolverhampton
Nani (groin) is out for MAN UTD and Darren Fletcher (ankle) is a major doubt while a virus has downed Anderson but Rio Ferdinand and Darren Gibson have recovered from it. Ryan Giggs (hamstring) and Wayne Rooney (ankle) will miss out. Ronald Zubar (ankle) has an outside chance of being fit for WOLVES but will require fitness tests on the day.

Sunderland v Stoke
Titus Bramble begins a one game suspension for SUNDERLAND after his red card last weekend but apart from long terms absentees, there are no new concerns. Thomas Sorensen is available to replace Asmir Begovic but Ricardo Fuller (shoulder) is a doubt as are Rory Delap and Salif Diao (both calf) but the former has a slim chance due resting midweek.
