Newbury double on Friday

Newbury stages a cracking card on Friday, where KINGSTON PRIDE (1:50) can win the Grade 2 novice chase. A winner on debut at Perth, he ought to like the better ground and might have more pace than Wendigo, whilst fellow joint favourite Regent’s Stroll makes his chasing debut here and will need to settle better than he did last season.

Earlier on the card, SINNATRA (12:15) can win the opening maiden hurdle for Dan and Harry Skelton. A bumper winner for Paul Nicholls, he shaped with plenty of promise on hurdles debut and provided he jumps a little better, can beat the likes of Harbour Island and Act Of Innocence.

Friday’s selections:
12:15 Newbury – Sinnatra; 7/4 William Hill
1:50 Newbury – Kingston Pride; 9/2 Betfred
