Football Tipster Christmas Cracker!

Ian Bott won last weekend’s Betrescue/Daily Record Football Tipster competition with a monstrous return of £4579.41 from a tenner!

The fixture list recovered somewhat in Week 19 as some of the snow and ice thawed away but Scotland still suffered with many cancellations.

Everton’s draw with Wigan was the main coupon killer while Tottenham’s and Chelsea’s draw was hard for punters as many backed either one team or the other. Another loss for Cardiff and a home defeat for Stoke were pretty bad for everyone too.

But Ian Bott dodged all of those bullets to land one of the biggest returns in this competition’s history. He selected Aston Villa, Blackpool, Man City and Man United all to win and Tottenham v Chelsea and Fulham v Sunderland both to draw. That landed him a massive £4579.41 from a mythical tenner, congratulations.
