Steve Purdy was last weekend’s Champion Tipster winner as the weather severely restricted the card to just a handful of games.

It was mainly Chelsea’s and Cardiff’s failures to win that ruined most people’s entries while Tottenham’s draw was bad for some and surprisingly, Man City’s home win was quite widely opposed.

Nevertheless, 7 people posted a return and the winner was Steve Purdy, who backed Arsenal, Blackburn, Man City, West Brom and Sunderland all to win, landing £136.53 from a tenner. He wins a £50 free bet with Totesport.
