This weeks Houston Open is very much an event which precedes next weeks Masters but is well worth winning in its own right and Lee Westwood at 14/1 () and Charl Schwartzel at 25/1 (888sport), both with Major ambitions themselves, look the two to be on in Houston.
Westwood showed enough here when just outside top 10 in 2009 to show he has no problem with the course while last year Schwartzel on missed a playoff by one.
Stan James are first up with Masters Offers next week and are offering win refunds up to 250 on single bets if either Woods or Mickleson win at Augusta. Considering they have won 7 times between them since 1997, this seems generous.
The Hassan Trophy in Morocco looks wide open and Simon Dyson, despite blowing out last week, looks overpriced here at 40/1 with Betdaq while David Horsey has a far better chance than his 80/1 odds with Ladbrokes suggest.
It is a tough week for punters with many keeping powder dry for next weeks Masters at Augusta.
