Somersby 4/1 For Ryanair Chase

Coral is quoting Somersby at 4/1 2nd fav for the Ryanair Chase, after trainer Henrietta Knight said the race could be the 7-year-old’s target, rather than the Champion Chase, for which he is the 7/1 fourth favourite.

“Those backers holding Champion Chase vouchers for Somersby will be hoping connections do not perform a U-turn on the shorter race, but if he does go for the Ryanair Chase, we would regard him as a major player in the longer race,” said Coral’s David Stevens.

Ryanair Chase:
7/2 Poquelin, 4/1 Somersby, 5/1 Kalahari King, 6/1 Tranquil Sea, 10/1 Albertas Run, Golden Silver, 11/1 J’y Vole, 12/1 Captain Cee Bee, 16/1 Gauvain, Weird Al, 20/1 Rubi Light, Tartak, The Nightingale, 25/1 Hey Big Spender, Noland, Roberto Goldback, 33/1 Bar
