Rangers don’t really inspire at 8/15 away at Aberdeen but William Hill’s 10/11 about both teams to score could be the bet to follow.
Rangers grabbed the only goal of the game against rock-bottom Hamilton on Sunday but they weren’t at their best at New Douglas Park and indeed could have been behind in the early stages had the goal-shy Accies not missed from the spot.
The performance does little to encourage a flutter on the ‘Gers at just 8/15 with Stan James as they head to Aberdeen and Walter Smith’s men, who aren’t particularly convincing at present, are made less attractive in betting terms by the fact that they have won on just two of their last ten visits to Pittodrie.
The hosts would potentially be worth a modest interest at 13/2 with , or alternatively at 9/5 (Coral) to avoid defeat but Craig Brown’s charges may have half an eye on their cup semi-final against Celtic at the weekend so they don’t quite appeal as much as they might have.
Instead, we’re backing both teams to score at 10/11 (William Hill). A team with more confidence in attack than Hamilton would have scored past Rangers at the weekend while the ‘Gers have more than enough quality to breach the hosts’ rearguard.
Recommended Bets:
Both teams to score – 10/11 (William Hill)
