Spain remain favourites at 7/5 with Stan James for the European Under 21 Championship despite being held to a 1-1 draw by England.
It’s a case of ‘as you were’ at the head of the betting for the European Under-21 Championship following England’s draw, courtesy of Danny Welbeck’s late leveller, against Spain in Herning on Sunday.
The Spanish remain favourites for the tournament at 7/5 with Stan James while Stuart Pearce’s men are a 4/1 shot at Sportingbet and the Czech Republic, who kicked off their campaign with a 2-1 victory over Ukraine, have been cut to 5/1 by Betfred.
Switzerland are in to 6/1 (Boylesports) after they saw off hosts Denmark, who drifted to 20/1 with bet365 following their 1-0 reverse. The Swiss are now Ladbrokes’ 4/7 favourites to top Group A and Skybet rate Luis Milla’s Spain at 11/10 to top Group B.
Meanwhile, in bet365’s top scorer betting Welbeck is now 13/2 following his strike against the Spanish but Czech skipper Borek Dockal is the market leader at 5/2 after he bagged a brace for his side.
