Salisbury Double Pays 48/1

Skybet.com

Skybet‘s “Man On The Spot“: 6/1 shots Sajwah and Theladyinquestion can deliver at Salisbury today. Selections from all today’s races below.

Sajwah (6/1 Skybet) can make the most of the step back to Listed class in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Dick Poole Fillies’ Stakes at Salisbury at 15:50

The Exceed And Excel filly was a winner at Warwick on her racecourse bow back in May, prompting connections to up her to Group Three company at Royal Ascot next time out.

The three-year-old has yet to get his head in front in five starts and possibly raised some suspicion about his ability over a mile when edged out over this course and distance earlier this month.

The Exceed And Excel filly was a winner at Warwick on her racecourse bow back in May, prompting connections to up her to Group Three company at Royal Ascot next time out.

Sajwah really did not look at home on the easy ground there, finishing eight lengths off the winner with the reopposing Inetrobil claiming the runner-up spot.

That rival was again in the field when Sajwah was sent for the Cherry Hinton at Newmarket and the gap was much smaller with Inetrobil fourth, just half a length in front of Sajwah in fifth.

The selection still has a little to find with her old adversary, but she remains lightly raced and while Inetrobil has seen plenty of action this term.

Trainer Charlie Hills obviously thinks Sajwah is a bit better than average and a drop in class, combined with good ground, should do the trick.

Theladyinquestion must hold an excellent chance in the EBF “Compton Place” Lochsong Fillies’ Stakes; 16:25 – 6/1 Skybet

A winner of one of her three juvenile starts, the Dubawi filly had a long spell on the sidelines due to a suspensory injury sustained in a valuable sales event on the final of those three outings.

Connections obviously think a bit of her as they opted to return her to training and that faith was vindicated when she won at Newmarket first time out.

Admittedly things fell right for her that day, but her one-length verdict was particularly meritorious as she looked as though she would improve plenty for the run.

Theladyinquestion can prove a particularly apt winner of the race for Andrew Balding, whose father Ian handled the great Lochsong.

Sabotage (10/3 Skybet) can break a length losing run in the CGA “Persian Punch” Conditions Stakes at 17:30

The five-year-old has not hit the mark since winning at Meydan in February 2010 but hinted at a return to form when fifth at Chester last time.

He did not get the best of runs that day so could well be capable of more than the bare form suggests.

Munsarim found it tough going at Goodwood but freshened up after a short break. Skybet‘s 13/2 shot must go close in the John Smith’s Redcar Straight-Mile Championship at Redcar at 15:40.

Keith Dalgleish threw him into a competitive handicap at the Glorious meeting and he ran a respectable race to finish just over seven lengths off the winner in 12th.

Previously successful at Ayr and Newcastle this season, Munsarim is not the most consistent of performers but is capable of a bold show.

Planetoid may have been ruled out of a bid for the Cesarewitch later in the year but he can strike gold in the 19:40 at Kempton at 9/4 with Skybet

David Lanigan is not keen to tackle the autumn handicap with the progressive three-year-old as he feels he needs a bit more time, but the Ladies Day At Kempton Park This Saturday Handicap is another step on the ladder.

Winner of two of his five starts to date, he impressed over 11 furlongs at this track in early August before following up over a mile and a half at Newmarket.

The Galileo colt lines up on a career-high mark here, but he looks a class act in the making.

Skybet‘s 11/10 favourite Russian War is the choice at Newton Abbot as he makes his debut over fences in the Will You Marry Me Tasmin Novices’ Chase at 14:50

A Listed winner over hurdles at Aintree back in April, he boasts a rating of 142 as he makes the switch in disciplines.

Clonmel: 4.45 Paddy The Celeb, 5.15 Curl Cat, 5.45 Snap Alam, 6.15 The Drunken Dr, 6.50 Eyre Apparent, 7.20 Sweet Sylvia, 7.50 Dr Tommy.

Newton Abbot: 1.50 Bathwick Scanno, 2.20 Erdeli, 2.50 Russian War, 3.25 Betavix, 4.00 Tigger, 4.35 The Big Freeze, 5.10 Wait No More.
