A busy programme of FA Cup fourth round ties has reduced the Championship schedule to just three matches this weekend and both are set to end in home wins.
At the Madejski Stadium, Reading are looking to reignite their play-off bid by bouncing back from last week’s disappointing defeat to Hull and they’re 4/5 with William Hill to collect a crucial three points at the expense of Bristol City.
Sceptics of course, will point to the Robins’ recent away win at Southampton but either side of that result City have lost four matches on the road, a sequence that includes a defeat at League Two outfit Crawley, so they should emerge empty-handed against the Royals.
Meanwhile, over at London Road, Stan James price Peterborough at 13/10 to get the better of a Portsmouth side with a host of off-field issues and one of the division’s worst away records.
