Laurent Blanc begins a trio of friendlies as heavy 1/7 favs with bet365 against Iceland and it’s hard to see anything but a home win as the manager looks to trim down a squad to 23 men for the Euro 2012 tournament. A surprise draw is 15/2 with BetVictor.
To extract odds against, you’ll have to go for a French win by 3 or more goals, a 13/10 chance with Stan James. On the face of it that looks reasonable but when you take into the account the amount of substitutions and probable resting of perhaps Benzema and co, it’s a bit risky.
Better instead is a solid but low scoring win. 2-0 jumps out at 11/2 with Betfred while a win to nil is 4/6 with Ladbrokes. Hatem Ben Arfa is 11/5 with Paddy Power to carry om his fine Premier League form with a goal at anytime.
