Roger Charlton’s four-year-old picked up really well in the closing stages to score at Sandown recently and, given the trainer’s post race comments, the Teofilo gelding should be expected to improve for what was his first outing in more than a year.
The step up in trip ought to suit and James Doyle’s mount was available at 2/1 with both Bet Victor and Paddy Power overnight.
