Paul Ferguson two selections for us on Satuday; Raw Impulse in the Goodwood 16:50 and Fascinating Rock in the Windsor 18:35. Compare odds and bet.
Clive Cox could be set for a big day at Goodwood, where he saddles Kodi Bear in the feature Celebration Mile and RAW IMPULSE (4:50) in the 1m1f handicap.
A taking winner of a soft ground Nottingham maiden back in May, the three-year-old made an untidy start when runner-up to Memorial Day on his handicap debut.
That form has, of course, worked out well and, back on an easy surface, the Makfi colt can defy a 3lb rise in the weights.
Windsor stages the Group 3 Winter Hill Stakes in which FASCINATING ROCK (6:35) will be difficult to beat, despite shouldering a 4lb penalty.
Dermot Weld’s four-year-old is at his best on an easy surface over this sort of trip and ran well in defeat last time, when runner-up in the Group 1 Tattersalls Gold Cup. That form stands out in this company, with King George winner Postponed finishing back in third.
Of the opposition, the most intriguing is Racing History, despite the fact he has plenty to find on ratings. He really impressed at Chester last time and should not be underestimated.

Fellow Betrescue columnist and Bet Victor’s Charlie McCann says: “It really is a privilege to write the foreword for such an informative and well-researched publication, which continues to go from strength to strength.”
