Paul Ferguson has two selections for us on Wednesday; Paolozzi in the Southwell 4.10 and Magna Cartor in the Windsor 6.40. Compare odds and bet.
Southwell stages a decent handicap hurdle on Wednesday, with Champagne Present very much of interest off his current mark.
Jonjo O’Neill’s runner returns from his summer break here, however, and preference is for the race fit PAOLOZZI (4:10) who won his first two over hurdles during June.
Seamus Durack’s six-year-old then tried to concede weight to a useful rival and, with the extra half-mile likely to bring about improvement, he is fancied to regain the winning thread.
There is also jumps action from Worcester this evening, where useful bumper performer MAGNA CARTOR (6:40) can land the maiden hurdle.
A winner at Southwell for Nicky Henderson, the son of Motivator finished third in a strong race (for the time of year) at Uttoxeter before chasing home the exciting Alyasan just 13 days ago.
The day’s second selection would appear to have the John Ferguson newcomer to beat.
