Haydock stages a cracking card in place of Cheltenham’s April meeting and LE TIEP’S SACRE (3:15) is taken to score for Gary & Josh Moore, after an encouraging return at Kempton recently.
In the concluding handicap hurdle, COUNT OF VENDOME (5:35) can defy top-weight under William Maggs. Twice a winner over hurdles, he bumped into Harry Lowes on his penultimate start and he was an eye-catcher at Aintree last week.
Both horses were balloted out at Aintree on Friday and enter lesser company here.
