A faller when travelling strongly last time, JUBY BALL (2:37) is fancied to revert to winning ways at Chepstow. A promising novice who relishes soft ground, he has course-and-distance winner Palacio and Stencil to beat. In receipt of weight, the latter comes out best at the weights, but Evan Williams’ seven-year-old remains an exciting prospect.
CLONDAW PARK (3:12) was still travelling well when unseating Paul O’Brien three out at Newbury, in a race in which Charisma Cat finished runner-up. An impressive Points winner in Ireland, the Walk In The Park mare cost £320,000 last March and is another bright prospect on an intriguing card.
