Kaymer Co-Fav As Names Tumble

Live on Skysports 3: Fri 19.00: Martin Kaymer remains as the 7/1 co-fav with Stan James in the WGC Matchplay after a host of upsets.

Kaymer is joined on 7/1 by Graeme McDowell (Sportingbet) as plenty of big names ducked out of the World Matchplay event.

Paul Casey lost out to Jason Day, Charl Schwartzel lost to the enigmatic Matteo Manassero, Ernie Els fell (JB Holmes), as did Rory McIlroy (Ben Crane), Phil Mickelson (Ricky Fowler) and Lee Westwood (Nick Watney).

Manassero is still considered an outsider at 33/1 (Boylesports) despite disposing of Stricker and Schwartzel and Englishman Luke Donald is 10/1 at bodog.

In today’s golf, Manassero and Donald go head to head, the latter the 8/13 fav (Betfred) while Martin Kaymer is 4/5 with Skybet to beat Hunter Mahan.
