Manchester United are now just 18/1 (Ladbrokes) to win the treble – the Premier League, the FA Cup and Champions League – this year.
Having secured their place in both the semi-final of the FA Cup and the quarter-final of the Champions League the bookies have slashed the odds of the current Premier League table-toppers securing a famous treble to just 18/1 (was as big as 150/1 this season).
The domestic league and cup double appears the most likely should they fail in Europe, priced at just 23/10 with 9/1 the quote about the FA & European cup double.
Ladbrokes also quote odds of 9/2 that United now fail to win a single trophy this season.
Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “We’re dreading a United treble as punters have been keen to back it at all rates and it would be a significant six-figure loser for us.”
