Live on Skysports 3: Thu 19.00: Charl Schwartzel is a good bet at 16/1 (Betfred) to lift this week’s Transitions Championship trophy.
Schwartzel has been pushing the top spots for the last two weeks and followed a T5 at the Honda Classic with a T4 at the WGC Cadillac. He looks sharp and has to be considered at 16/1 with Betfred.
Luke Donald leads the market at 12/1 with Sportingbet and did look solid in last week’s T6 finish but he is perhaps not quite ready to be clear favourite on the back of very recent form.
Peter Hanson has recorded T5 and T4 at his previous two events, the WGC tournaments, and he has to be watched at 40/1 (BetVictor), especially each-way.
Gary Woodland defends his title as a 50/1 shot with William Hill and his form has been steady if not spectacular while Webb Simpson is Ladbrokes’ 20/1 chance.
