Luis Suarez is 7/4 with BetVictor to join Arsenal before the end of the transfer window after Liverpool rejected a bid from the Gunners for the Uruguayan.
The North London outfit outlined their ambition by offering £30m for the controversial striker but the Reds immediately rejected the bid.
Real Madrid, who have been linked with Suarez all summer, remain favourites at 11/8 (BetVictor) to be his club on the 1st September and there’s a chance that Arsenal’s move could spur the Spanish giants into action.
It’s 7/1 at BetVictor meanwhile, for Suarez to follow in Fernando Torres’ footsteps by swapping Liverpool for Chelsea and he’s 9/4 to stay at Anfield.
BetVictor spokesperson Charlie McCann told Betrescue: “We would be very surprised if Liverpool sold the Uruguayan to another Premier League club and still feel that Suarez is likely to end up at Real Madrid before the end of the August transfer window; we bet 9/4 that he is still a Liverpool player on 1st September and 1/3 that he is plying his trade away from Anfield.
“Liverpool insist Suarez is not for sale and, despite selling Fernando Torres to Chelsea for £50 million in January 2011, we think it highly unlikely they would sell their prize asset to another Premier League side.”
