Mark Johnston’s Night Of Thunder colt travelled really well to lead on debut and powered clear in the closing stages, to beat Dancinginthewoods, who had earlier finished fourth behind Pinatubo in the Woodcote Stakes. The way he moved through that Doncaster race suggested that he could be an above-average juvenile and he can take this, before going up in grade.
