Twice beaten at short odds over hurdles, LARGY GO (4:30) has to be of interest on handicap debut and up to 3m. An impressive Point-to-Point winner, he is bred to excel of this sort of trip and is worth chancing off 106.
Over at Fairyhouse, the Irish National meeting gets underway with a mares maiden hurdle in which SALSINHA (2:05) is taken to score after a break. An impressive bumper winner last summer, she was beaten in heavy ground on debut (just behind Cool Native) before finishing third in Listed company. The drier the ground the better for her.
