Although Hurricane Pat beat OLD PARK STAR (1:25) in a bumper, the latter has developed into an exciting novice hurdler and can make it 3-3 at Haydock, on the back on an impressive success at Cheltenham.
Down at Ascot, IL ETAIT TEMPS (3:00) should be hard to beat in the Clarence House. Racing right handed suits and he is at the top of his game at present, having impressed in the Tingle Creek last time.
And, in the concluding novice hurdle, I’ll be siding with THE BURREN MAN (4:05) who bolted up at Carlisle on debut. This is much more competitive but he will enjoy the longer trip and can continue his rise.
