A Grade 2 winner over hurdles, BILL JOYCE (12:20) has long left the impression that he will make up into a better chaser and he can make a winning start at Haydock. He goes well fresh and will enjoy the soft ground.
Down at Ascot, stable-mate WILFUL (3:35) should be backed each-way in the valuable handicap hurdle. The better the ground the better his chance and he has a huge pull at the weights with Alexei from their Welsh Champion Hurdle clash.
