With day one of the DRF cancelled until Monday, the focus turns to Sandown and although there remains a question mark over the form of the Venetia Williams stable, I’ll take a chance on SOLE SOLUTION (3:10) who was available at 14/1 on Saturday morning.
The eight-year-old loves deep ground and won on heavy here a year ago. Chasing didn’t go to plan this season and with one run back over hurdles under his belt, a chance is taken on him returning to form in first time cheekpieces. Given the risks attached, just a small each-way play is recommended.
