Paul Ferguson has one selection for us on Wednesday; Vitorio Piel in the 1.55 at Punchestown. | Free Bets |
The opening maiden hurdle from Punchestown has been won by some smart sorts in recent years, including subsequent Cheltenham Festival winning novices, Labaik, Samcro and Marine Nationale. Dual bumper winner Kovanis is respected, as is Gameball, who looked above average when winning a summer bumper, but VITORIO PIEL (1:55) looked hugely exciting when winning a bumper at the Punchestown Festival and gets the vote. Emmet Mullins has been among the winners of late and his son of Spanish Moon looked to possess plenty of pace when making all on debut. He has changed ownership over the summer and can make the perfect start over hurdles.
Wednesday’s selection:
1:55 Punchestown – Vitorio Piel; 11/8 Betfred
