Newbury stages a cracking card on Wednesday, where KADASTRAL (12:53) will be hard to beat in the maiden hurdle. A course winner in bumpers, he ran an encouraging race on hurdling debut and should improve.
The novice hurdle looks more competitive, but the promising STARZAND (1:23) is marginally preferred to the slightly more experienced Kripticjim. A big galloper, the track should be perfect for him.
At Ludlow, UN SENS A LA VIE (12:13) should win the opening novice hurdle, despite the penalty. Runner to Old Park Star last time, that form looks really good now and he can put his experience to good use.
