THE MOURNE RAMBLER (4:50) showed plenty of speed when winning the Champion Bumper and is taken to complete the Grade 1 double, something achieved by Fayonagh, Facile Vega, A Dream To Share and Bambino Fever since 2017. Conditions should be ideal and although main market rival Dromard was hugely impressive on debut at Gowran Park, that came on heavy ground and Noel Meade’s runner has far superior form (to date). Available at 2/1, I expected him to be trading much closer to Evens and he is the sole selection on day two.
