Premier League Betting Preview

Chris Hutcheon pinpoints the money making opportunities in the Premier League 2025/26 season.  Live Scores | Free Bets.

Live on Sky Sports Premier League: Thursday 17:30. Crystal Palace v Fulham. We have a New Year’s Day contest at Selhurst Park when Crystal Palace take on Fulham, with the Eagles 11/10 with Coral to beat the Cottagers. However, Oliver Glasner’s squad look fatigued and there’s definitely a case for backing the visitors. Bet365 have 23/10 that Marco Silva’s side get the job done at Selhurst Park.

You can get 11/5 with Betfred that the clash ends all square, with Coral making BTTS Yes an 8/11 shot, while Harry Wilson could merit a wager to find the net at 11/4 with bet365. Yeremy Pino has shown an eye for goal and he’s a 3/1 poke to be on the scoresheet with William Hill.

Live on Sky Sports: Thursday 17:30. Liverpool v Leeds Utd. Liverpool take on Leeds United at Anfield on New Year’s Day, with the Reds available at 10/21 with Ladbrokes to topple their spirited Yorkshire opponents. Arne Slot is fending without Mohamed Salah and Alexander Isak, with Hugo Ekitike priced at an attractive 9/2 with bet365 to break the deadlock against a visiting team who are improving.

Daniel Farke’s side are 6/1 with bet365 to claim three points in the New Year and Ladbrokes chalk up 17/5 that the clash ends all square. BoyleSports offer 2/1 that we see a home win along with both teams to score.

Live on Sky Sports: Thursday 20:00. Sunderland v Man City. Sunderland have been going toe to toe with every side at the Stadium of Light this season. They’re 5/1 with Betfred to pull off their latest excellent result at home, with Arsenal, Villa and Newcastle among the sides who have failed to win here. At the very least, the Black Cats will be confident of a draw and that is trading at 17/5 with Ladbrokes.

Plenty of punters will be putting Manchester City in their accumulators and William Hill offer 8/15 that Pep Guardiola’s team are the first to win at this ground this season. It could be a backs to the wall display and a 1-0 victory in favour of the visitors can be punted at 15/2 with bet365.

Live on Sky Sports Premier League: Thursday 20:00. Brentford v Tottenham Hotspur. Brentford and Tottenham meet in a New Year’s Day London derby, with the Bees priced at 5/4 with Coral to beat a team coached by their former manager. Thomas Frank is likely to get a warm reception although his Spurs team are outsiders for the victory. You can get 21/10 with Betfred that they find a way to win at the Gtech Stadium.

Brentford have been fairly solid at home this term and a victory to nil can be backed at 3/1 with William Hill, with Igor Thiago available at 4/1 with BoyleSports to break the deadlock. Richarlison could be the best option for visitors and he’s 13/2 with Bet365 to score first.

Live on Sky Sports Premier League: Saturday 12:30. Aston Villa v Nottingham Forest. Some might argue that Aston Villa are a value price to overcome Nottingham Forest in this lunchtime fixture. Betfred currently offer 8/11 that Unai Emery’s side continue their excellent home form with a victory against opposition sitting just above the drop zone. Sean Dyche saw his team recently put up a good fight against Manchester City and they’re 15/4 with bet365 to pull off a shock win.

The draw is trading at 11/4 with William Hill and this could be a tight encounter, with Betfred offering evens that there are Under 2.5 Goals at Villa Park. A slender 1-0 victory in favour of the Villans can be punted at 13/2 with BoyleSports.

Saturday 15:00. Wolverhampton v West Ham United. Both Wolves and West Ham are heavily threatened by relegation, with the former trading as slight favourites to win this six-pointer. Rob Edwards’ side are 8/5 with Bet365 to claim their first Premier League victory of the season against a Hammers side who have only won one away game all term. Ladbrokes offer 9/5 that the London team are victorious.

Saturday 15:00. Brighton & Hove Albion v Burnley. Brighton are firm favourites to land a Saturday victory against Burnley, with the Seagulls no bigger than 1/2 with Coral to beat relegation-threatened opposition. The Clarets are as big as 6/1 with Bet365 to secure the spoils and they have shown recent improvement, with the draw definitely worthy of consideration at 10/3 with Betfred.

Live on Sky Sports: Saturday 17:30. AFC Bournemouth v Arsenal. Arsenal’s title campaign continues at the Vitality Stadium in this Saturday teatime encounter. It might not be a bad time to be facing Bournemouth, with the Gunners priced at 4/7 with William Hill to claim three points. They might return to defensively stubborn ways and there’s 7/4 with the same bookie that they achieve a victory without defeat.

The Cherries are the 9/2 outsiders with Ladbrokes and they’re 14/5 with BoyleSports to land a draw. It’s conceivable that they’ll at least score in this clash and BTTS Yes is a 4/5 chance with bet365.

Live on TNT Sports 1: Sunday 12:30. Leeds United v Man Utd. Leeds are currently winning their fight against relegation and a win against Manchester United would be a huge boost. Daniel Farke’s side look backable at 2/1 with bet365 to beat a Red Devils side missing key personnel. However, United have improved as the season has wore on and they are 11/8 with Coral to claim the spoils at Elland Road.

It’s set to be a cauldron atmosphere and perhaps we’ll see a low-scoring and scrappy encounter. Under 2.5 Goals is trading at 20/21 with BoyleSports and there’s a decent case for backing the 1-1 scoreline at 6/1 with Betfred.

Live on Sky Sports Golf: Sunday 15:00. Everton v Brentford. Everton and Brentford could play out a tight affair at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, with the Toffees priced at 6/4 with Ladbrokes to claim three points to kick off the New Year.

The Bees have certainly not been great on the road, although Betfred chalk up 2/1 that Keith Andrews’ side are able to secure a rare away win. We think a low-scoring draw could be on the cards and No Goalscorer can be backed at 7/1 with William Hill.

Live on Sky Sports Football: Sunday 15:00. Tottenham Hotspur v Sunderland. Tottenham have not been a team to trust punting-wise this season and they’re only a shade of odds-on to beat Sunderland. At the start of the campaign, it would have looked a big price but 5/6 with Betfred seems a touch on the skinny side. The Black Cats have been enjoying a thrilling campaign and Coral offer 7/2 that there’s a win for Regis Le Bris’ side. The draw is a definite runner at 13/5 with Bet365.

Live on Sky Sports Premier League: Sunday 15:00. Newcastle Utd v Crystal Palace. Crystal Palace make a long trip to St James’ Park for this weekend encounter and they’re regarded as big outsiders. The Eagles are a 16/5 chance with bet365 to leave Tyneside with the spoils, with Newcastle hoping to draw on home comforts. Eddie Howe’s team are a 5/6 shot with William Hill and we like the 13/5 with the same bookie that the Magpies enjoy a win along with BTTS Yes.

Live on Sky Sports: Sunday 15:00. Fulham v Liverpool. Liverpool are far from certain to claim a victory at Craven Cottage despite an upturn in form. The Reds are evens with BoyleSports to get three points on the road, although Fulham have been in strong form recently. Marco Silva’s team could be a great shout at 11/4 with Betfred to win this clash and it’s conceivable they will get a point. Bet365 have 13/5 about the encounter ending all square.

Live on Sky Sports: Sunday 17:30. Man City v Chelsea. The teatime clash on Sunday promises to be something special, with Manchester City hosting Chelsea. Pep Guardiola’s side have the title in their sights and a victory for the Cityzens can be punted at 4/5 with Betfred to beat their London opponents. The visitors have looked world-beaters at times and they’re 3/1 with Ladbrokes to leave the Etihad with a win.

The draw is a 3/1 chance with Betfred and this outcome would be greeted with pleasure in north London, with Erling Haaland a 3/1 chance with Coral to break deadlock. However, it’s Rayan Cherki who has been stepping up to the plate and he’s 13/2 with bet365 to score the opener.
